Data Tennis
From Tenipuri Info
Data Tennis is a play style.
Users gather data on the opponent and analyze it to gain an advantage in matches. This process generally involves four main steps[1]:
- Taking in visual information
- Judging whether data is useful or not
- Analyzing newly gathered data by comparing it to past data
- Analyzing own weak points and creating a game plan
Depending on their abilities and personalities, different users utilize Data Tennis in different ways. They can be categorized along two axis depending on whether they are (1) more inclined to focus on doing all their analysis before a match or adapt during a match; and (2) have high natural abilities or work extra hard to compensate for a relative lack thereof.
Furthermore, each user focuses on different parts of the process outlined above in different ways and may even add their own quirks. For more information, see the users' respective character pages.
