Shudou Satoshi (木更津亮, きさらず りょう) is a 3rd year student at Rokkaku. He is the schock troop commander of Rokkaku.
Appearance
Shudou's most noticeable feature is his blondish hair with dark roots. In the anime, he has two versions, with the earliest version being blonde and the later versions being brunette.
Personality
Shudou is described as being a gallant, curious and fearless guy. He is dynamic, but panics easily. Furthermore, he is simple and can be frank.
History
Shudou appears first at the Kanto lineup. Shudou appears later at Seigaku VS Rokkaku. He is scheduled for Singles 1 against Inui Sadaharu, but never gets to play it. In Higa VS Rokkaku, Hirakoba triumphs him in singles 2 with 6-0. He is later shown cheering on Seigaku during the semi- and finals.
Prior to the events of the main story
Ryou is shown practicing on Rokkaku's courts, unbeknowst that he's being watched by Mizuki Hajime. Mizuki Hajime, being impressed by his skills goes to recruit him on the beach later, but accidentally mistakes Atsushi for his twin brother. Ryou is later shown to be a candidate for the choosing of the next captain, as he is lined up on the beach. He seems to be ambivalent to the situation, as he asks himself why Atsushi had to move.
Anime only arcs
Ryou appears at the Senbatsu arc, where he plays a match agains Kisarazu Atsushi. Ryou wins.
Play Style
Ryou is a Serve and volleyer. Not much is known about him.
