Spot

Spot (スポット, Supotto) describes a sequence of shots in which topspin and slice shots alternate.

Returning shots with alternating spins eventually causes the opponent's muscles to tighten up for about half a second. During this time, their arm movement decreases and the user can use this chance to score.
