Hakugei is a backhand shot with a slice spin. It is one of the Triple Counters.
A counter against net play. The user hits a high lob. Upon hitting the baseline, the ball bounces back onto the user's side on its own.
Variations
Hakuryuu: The evolved version of Hakugei. In this form, the ball is hit directly at the net player before curving upwards just before reaching them. Upon hitting the baseline, the ball bounces sideways.
