Mukahi Gakuto playing Acrobatic Tennis at Nationals

Acrobatic Tennis is a tennis style that requires agility and speed. It involves flips, jumps, and other advanced maneuvers.

This style is effective in overwhelming the opponent. It can be both offensive and defensive. Offensively, shots such as the Moonsault easily gain points because of the unique nature and high angle. As for defense, acrobatic maneuvers help the user return shots from difficult positions due to the unexpected range of motion given by the user's acrobatic ability. Acrobatic tennis players can jump higher, farther, and play tennis mid-jump much better than the average tennis player.

Other examples of Acrobatic Tennis seen in the series only require flexibility, such as Kikumaru's behind the back shots.
