Kisarazu Ryou (木更津亮(きさらずりょう)) is a 3rd year student at Rokkaku. He is the analyst of Rokkaku, and also their hidden weapon.

Appearance

Ryou's most notable feature is his long, black hair. He also has a much smaller frame than most of his teammates. In the past, he had hair that reached above his shoulders.

Personality

Ryou is described as being a vain, mysterious guy that cares about his image. It is said that he wears his cap in order to appear mysterious. He is a secretive guy and doesn't talk much.

History

Kantou Tournament

Ryou appears at Seigaku VS Rokkaku. He is scheduled for Singles 2 against Echizen Ryoma, but never gets to play it. He appears later at the summer training camp of Seigaku, teaming up with Inui Sadaharu in the volleyball tournament. The pair loses the tournament due to Inui's unwillingness to drink his own juice.

Nationals

In Higa VS Rokkaku, Hirakoba triumphs him in singles 2 with 6-0. He is later shown cheering on Seigaku during the semi- and finals.

Prior to the events of the main story

Ryou is shown practicing on Rokkaku's courts, unbeknowst that he's being watched by Mizuki Hajime. Mizuki Hajime, being impressed by his skills goes to recruit him on the beach later, but accidentally mistakes Atsushi for his twin brother. Ryou is later shown to be a candidate for the choosing of the next captain, as he is lined up on the beach. He seems to be ambivalent to the situation, as he asks himself why Atsushi had to move.

Anime only arcs

Ryou appears at the Senbatsu arc, where he plays a match agains Kisarazu Atsushi. Ryou wins.

Play Style

Ryou is a Serve and volleyer. Not much is known about him.
